Now we’ve heard of everything. Apparently there is a new trend in the wedding photography industry where couples schedule a photo shoot the morning after their wedding for some intimate “Morning After” photos. They range from steamy shower shots to cute, pajamas and coffee photos to half naked and rolled up in the wrinkled sheets from the night before pics. No matter how you describe it, it’s being considered by some to be very sexy.

Melissa Squires is one wedding photographer leading this new trend.

“The feeling I try to capture is closeness,” Squires said. “That lovely calm and happiness one feels when they realize it’s for real, now they are really husband and wife.”

We are of the opinion on wedding photography – as with our opinion on Wedding DJ services – that each couple is unique and their wedding (and photo album) should reflect who THEY are, not who others think they should be. To each his/her own and if that is how a newlywed couple wants to remember their wedding then that’s precisely what they should do. Maybe we could suggest TWO wedding photo albums…one for guests and the other for “special” guests?
